I definetly recommend Kazuo Ishiguro for the role of auditor. He has successfully done this with about 5 different operations to date without a hitch, plus I spent about 1.5 years with him as an alliance member who was always active and always happy to help out.
One thing I would ask however is for you and him to set up some sort of truce/agreement whereby if your operation is determined to scam etc that your main characters names can be released to the public.

My reasons for investing were my own however I have dealt with cosmo in other areas not just this IPO so I done so based on my own beliefs. He could be a Riethe alt and have managed to pull the wool over my eyes again but I am willing to take a chance, and a 1.5b loss is quite easy for us to absorb without issue.

My current concerns include but are not limited to:
1. The T1 ship manufacturing field, in my experience, yields poor returns.
Not exactly true. I am running a bit of an experiment now to compare profit margins and return on investment when comparing T1 to T2. Honestly, the results I am getting with things like battleships and battlecruisers thus far is that I can make well over a 100% return on investment within 1 month on a BS BPO whereby all the T2 bpo's I have perused for sale have ROI's closer to 2-3 years.
I had a whole pile more data here but just deleted it as I realised I don't actually want people to know how it's being done as it digs into my profits.
So I won't provide figures to back up my above claims however you are free to use figures to try and refute them

Edited by: EBANK Ricdic on 02/06/2008 16:36:42 I don't think Shar was just talking about you Kazzac
Having said that, one would have to be naive if they thought we were all investing just for the hell of it without doing our own background checks, our own historic links and the rest
edit: Oh and just to go against the lemmings backtracking with the "statement of intent" comments, I reserved under the full guise that I was expected to pay those funds. I generally don't reserve something unless I am investing in it unless I expressely say so at time of post.
Personally I don't like the thought of everyone quickly pressing "reserve" and then spending a week deciding what to do. It would be like going to Las Vegas and reserving all the slot machines, then going home for the night with intent to maybe play some of those reserved ones the next day.
That's my take on a 'reservation' anyway
